Hi, I’m Craig Dean I’m the station founder, manager, and presenter of the Wednesday evening 7 til 9pm (UK time) entertainment express known as the ‘Half Way There Show’ where we ‘ease you toward the weekend, but not too gently’
I also run my own business, Soudini Ltd (that operates & sponsors the station) love motorcycling (the Harley kind!) swimming & cycling (but am no Adonis!) and pubbing (who doesn’t enjoy the odd pint?!) along with trips to the cinema and eating out (all the usual I guess!).
I like science fiction, horror, romance and comedies, and I’m a happy chatty guy who just loves getting up in the morning – so if that sounds good to you then please tune in, as I’m sure we’ll be on the same wavelength!!
My show includes a plethora of fun and frivolity, including features like:
• My Top 10
• Pete’s Post
• Dr Dean’s Problem Corner
• What’s on this weekend
• A great variety of music
• & of course all the usual ‘shout outs’ and requests that you, the listeners, send in
So what are you waiting for?!! Hop on the ‘Half Way There’ entertainment express: It’s picking up in your area between 7pm and 9pm (UK time) this Wednesday!!
Hi, I’m Jack Wardle, and I’m the Station’s Social Media Manager bringing you all of the weekly updates and insights you see throughout our social media accounts.
When not working on new material for the station I’ll be working at sea as a Marine Engineer, currently within the cruise industry, and I thoroughly enjoy visiting as many amazing places as I possibly can.
When I’m in Fuerteventura I enjoy many of the varied opportunities available and spend most of my time scuba diving, golfing or having a few “lite” refreshments in pint form!
Being the “behind the scenes” guy for the station I don’t have the tools vocally to tell you to come and listen to the many exciting and varied shows available, but please feel free to contact me via social media with any ideas or improvements you’d like to see added for the benefit of the station and the pleasure of our listeners.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Ian Ellison shared his love of all things Northern Soul & Tamla Motown with you, every Thursday on Red Lamp Radio from May 2019 to January 2020
His show took you back to the glory days of this wonderful era, when he was DJing at places like The Twisted Wheel, Nuneaton Nighters, Blackheart Nighters, the Bridlington Weekender and Corfu Soul in the Sun – heady days indeed.
As a big fan of sunshine, hence living in and broadcasting his show to you from the sunny Canarian Island of Fuerteventura, he was a perfect example of the famous northern folk saying, ‘you gotta keep on keeping on’ (in the best weather and with the best music of course!).
Ian’s ‘live’ stint on Red Lamp Radio has now come to an end, but you can still tune into to his old shows on recorded podcast, through our ‘How to Listen’ page and our apps.
Rob Perks, a life long radio fan who presented radio shows for a variety of community, hospital, and other stations for over 20 years, presented the Tuesday Time Tunnel on Red Lamp Radio in October & November 2019.
He enjoys most genres of music, but particularly loved the 1960’s & 1970’s, hence concentrating on these decades in the show.
Rob’s ‘live’ stint on Red Lamp Radio has now come to an end, but you can still tune into to his old shows on recorded podcast, through our ‘How to Listen’ page and our apps.
Mamen Sanchez, our very own Chica Rockera, presented, ‘Rock Chick Tuesday’ on Red Lamp Radio from November 2019 to January 2020.
Featuring all types of rock from all eras – this was a truly international show full of chat, music & entertainment in both English & Spanish!
Mamen’s ‘live’ stint on Red Lamp Radio has now come to an end, but you can still tune into to her old shows on recorded podcast, through our ‘How to Listen’ page and our apps.
